So, yeah, this is going to be my main updated journal. Feel free to stop by any time for said updates.
I guess I should start off with an introduction of myself? I am a 22 year old who has a very multi-faceted personality. I enjoy a wide range of activities from drawing and coloring (mainly abstract and word art) to writing and listening to music. I love hanging out with my close friends and family, and my boyfriend of 4 months and 7 days (yes, I'm weird because I keep count). I love my pets, namely a chihuahua (Chica Rica de Esperanza), and a betta fish (Ingrid). My dad also owns 3 hound dogs (coonhounds named Jack, Angel, and Slam) whom I love to death.
I write poetry and songs, but I am also getting into some more interesting types of writing. I have my own journal which I don't keep up with very well due to time constraints and my own laziness. I'm beginning to gain an interest in writing on various topics of my own opinion as well, but I need to learn more about the writing style before I can publish that much.
I grew up listening to Southern Gospel music and hymns as well as a little sprinkling of my Daddy's favorite country artists and bluegrass... He used to sneak the TV out of hiding back when we weren't allowed to watch TV according to my mother and we would stretch out across the bed and watch the Grand Ole Opry and all of that. Nowadays I'll listen to pretty much anything as long as there's no real Satanic background to it.
Latest updates... Christmas was ok. I was very bothered by some of it simply because we don't have the family get togethers like we used to. There used to be HUGE family get togethers. Now...we're not as unified as we used to be...and I'm hoping to possibly change that in the future.
Well, I didn't make as good of grades this past semester as I had hoped... So, with a GPA of 1.81 due to circumstances beyond my control, I am sad to say that I will not be allowed to continue classes at EC in the coming Spring semester. Fortunately, though, I have a friend who will be living in the dorms despite the fact that she will be on internship. She has nowhere to go when she leaves EC, so they are allowing her to keep her dorm for the price of room and board. She is going to let me stay with her for awhile and if the school wants me to pay room and board as well, she has offered to pay it. This is very convenient for me as we lived next door this past semester. In the meantime, I will be getting a job.
I am looking very forward to all the opportunities that are opening up for me right now. I would ask that everyone who reads this or knows me please keep me in their prayers. Thank you.
