Featuring: An After Thought

I wanted to introduce everyone to my personal friend (and very first to be featured here at the_unique), Anna from An After Thought.  In this blog, Anna writes thought-provoking entries on a wide range of subjects which interest her.  In addition, she gleefully introduces others to some of her personal favorite things.

As I have stated above, Anna is a personal friend.  We met at Emmanuel College around 2006.  It was not until 2007 when I was blessed with an opportunity to get to know her better.  Since then, I have considered her to be one of my few closest friends and confidants.

Ever the optimist, Anna's writings are inspiring and uplifting despite the ups and downs she faces in her life.  In the time that I have spent getting to know her, I have found her to be a true source of strength for others in her life, myself included.  It is not that she is a woman without faults, but rather that she is a woman who knows herself, and makes a sincere effort toward getting to know others in her circle of friends and family.

There is something for everyone within An After Thought's writtings.  If you enjoy cooking, you may even find a new recipe or two that you never would have thought of.  Or perhaps you long for the days when people appreciated each other and the time and things they had; you will find refreshment in Anna's daily outlook on life.  For the mothers and the children, you will find that not only does Anna enjoy the "kid toys" in life, but she also longs to be of service to children everywhere.

I highly recommend reading this blog, not only as Anna's (rather biased) friend, but also as a fellow blogger and writer.  I look forward to viewing your comments on some of her future reviews.  And please let her know if you try any of the recipes.
