Dealin' Reel: Episode 6 - The Proposal

This romantic comedy about a hard-nosed book editor and her assistant is not only hilarious, but also a beautiful story of how love blooms in some of the most unlikely situations -- and often between the most unexpected couples.

Upon discovering that she could potentially lose her visa status and job, Canadian-born Margaret seeks an immediate and automatic fix to the situation.  She drags her assistant, Andrew, into the situation by way of a lie which she begs him to play along with.  In the meantime, he feels he cannot refuse her lest he lose his own job.

Andrew takes Margaret with him to his family's home in Alaska.  In the midst of his family's expectations and the yapping of the family dog, she and Andrew discover that the lie she told may not be a lie at all.  At the very least, they are not the enemies they once assumed themselves to be.  Margaret, however, has feelings which could potentially ruin all the good that has come from the experience.

Not only does Margaret gain a new appreciation for those she considers beneath her, but she's also reminded of the importance of family.  I highly recommend this movie.
