So, I have arrived in Georgia safely as of 1445ish (2:45pm for non-military) this afternoon. I left at 0518, so I made really great time, and got here in less than the usual 10 hours (woot!). Traffic wasn't too bad, but I'm still rather ticked at the dude in Suffolk who flashed his lights at me while maintaining a too-close-for-comfort place just behind me. If you are out there, thank you for blinding me, I'm so sorry that I was attempting the speed limit as opposed to a speeding ticket.
The drive was pretty uneventful. I kept having to pull over for drinks to keep myself awake (only got 2 hours and 21 minutes of sleep last night).
As promised, I will make a few videos and take some photos while I'm here, but I have to be kind of careful. My parents are re-decorating, and I don't want to embarrass my mother when she hasn't yet finished her beautiful work on the place. I guess I'll just visit old haunts and places that are special to me and make a montage of sorts. Who knows.
Furthermore, I will be catching up to myself a wee bit on the blogging and reviews that were not done last week. I apologize for the delay, but as my amazingly sweet mother-in-law said earlier this evening, I NEED SLEEP!! It's starting to get to me.
